Peter J. Bilfield
Peter J. Bilfield has joined Stamford-based law firm Day Pitney as a partner and will be co-chairman of its Investment Management and Private Funds group. Bilfield, who previously worked at Shipman & Goodwin LLP, focuses his practice on investment management and corporate and securities law, where he represents investment advisers and private investment funds in all aspects of their businesses. Bilfield also works extensively with non-U.S. investment firms located throughout Europe, Asia and Australia on U.S. securities and regulatory matters.
Steven M. Gold
Steven M. Gold has joined Day Pitney as a partner. Gold, who previously worked at Shipman & Goodwin LLP, assists clients in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial finance. His clients include corporations, entrepreneurs, commercial banks, investment banks and investors, as well as “high technology” and “emerging growth entities.” Gold counsels them on corporate and commercial finance transactions, investments, secured and unsecured financings, and asset-based lending matters, including loan-equity documentation, workouts and restructurings.
Chip Howard
Remedy Partners, a Darienbased risk-bearing entity in Medicare’s Bundled Payments for Care Improvement program, has hired Chip Howard as senior vice president of partner services. Under Howard’s leadership, Remedy’s partner services team would also provider partners to use its suite of tools, resources and capabilities to improve quality of care and cost effectiveness. Remedy officials said. Howard has 18 years of experience in payer organizations and previously served as vice president and payment innovations leader in Humana’s Provider Development Center of Excellence.
