Catholic Charities unveiled its Mobile Relief Unit on May

10. The unit is designed to address food insecurity, homelessness, and disaster response for the 19 counties of the Archdiocese of San Antonio.

Catholic Charities will have weekly stops at designated locations around the region and homeless encampments to provide food, distribute clothing and blankets, and offer a helping hand to those in need. The unit will also provide assistance across the country after a natural disaster or tragedy.

Anyone interested in supporting the Catholic Charities Mobile Relief Unit can donate non-perishable food, clothing, personal hygiene items, and blankets at the Guadalupe Community Center, 1801 W. Cesar E. Chavez Blvd., Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
