About 100 people gathered Thursday evening at Milam Park for SAMMinistries’ 11th annual Homeless Persons’ Memorial Service, remembering homeless people who died in 2017. In the San Antonio area, 65 people died, ranging in age from an infant to 79 years old, according to Susan Scheuer with SAMMinistries.
