Quotable: “My coach (Sheila West) tells me before every race what she thinks I can run and what she thinks I’m capable of. Every time, she raises the bar. I say to myself, ‘Coach West, I don’t know if that’s in the cards today. I don’t know if I can run that right now.’ And every time, she’s right. Just being able to prove her right and run the times she says I can run is a real reward.” Also considered for E-N honor: Clark’s Jon Maas, Steele’s J.T. Woods
