The Wycliffe Stiffs Stick-ball League’s Nov. 7 matchup ended with the Brooklyn Bums and Long Island Whalers going 11 innings until the rulebook came out officially declaring the game over in a 2-2 tie. For Brooklyn, Andy Bleadon had a triple and two singles, and Arnold Westerman homered for the Whalers. The second game between the Bronx Clippers and Dukes of Flatbush was canceled after Steve Wechsler fell during a catch early in the game. The Wellington High School Wrestling Club had nine members land on the Palm Beach County honor roll in their respective weight classes: Chris DiFiore, Jesse Weinberg, Tony Widrig, Robert Saldarriaga, Justin Henry, Jared Abramson, Cameryn Townsend, Ryhan Montes and Eric Saber, with the team itself earning a second-place ranking behind Olympic Heights High School. The swimmers from Rosarian Academy in West Palm Beach made major waves finishing on top at the school’s 27th annual Invitational Swim Meet at Lake Lytal on Oct. 28. Under the coaching of Kathleen Beazley, Bradley Fell and Devin Treadway, 45 students from kindergarten through eighth grade in all skill levels competed against St. Ann’s School and All Saints Catholic, with Rosarian students Finn Beylo and Matthew Cohen earning first-place honors in five different events. The Raiders outscored second-place St. Ann’s by a margin of 646 points, with a final point tally of Rosarian with 782, St. Ann’s with 136, and All Saints, 76.

The Pine Creek Sporting Club in Okeechobee will host the third annual Tower Shoot benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County Hunger Relief Program on Dec.

9. Field limited to 24 participants, half-peg fee $2,500, properly trained hunting dogs are welcome. Luncheon follows immediately after the shoot, $150 fee per person. The Boys & Girls Clubs fight hunger through their After-School Meals Program and estimates more than 400,000 kids will be served at seven locations in 2018. West Palm Beach’s Police Athletic League (PAL) rolls out the mats for its fourth annual Wrestling Academy, this year at Forest Hill High School starting Tuesday. For the second year in a row, Wellington’s International Polo Club will host the 36th annual National Hockey Festival today through Saturday.
