The theme of the Caridad Center’s annual Call to Heart Ball evening was “Touch the Heart of Those in Need.” Honorary event chairs and long-time Caridad supporters Sanjiv Sharma and Nadine Allen addressed guests, and host committee chair Dr. John Strasswimmer reminded those assembled of the important work the Caridad Center performs.

“It is a privilege to be honored and support the work of the Caridad Center,” said Sharma. “Caridad saves and changes the lives of thousands of children and families in Palm Beach County each year, and I am so pleased to support them in their mission. Together we can make a difference in the lives of the poor, uninsured, and underserved children and families of Palm Beach County.”

The Call to Heart Ball is Caridad’s largest fundraising event of the year. Proceeds from this event play a vital role in helping Caridad further its mission of providing comprehensive medical, vision and dental care to the uninsured, and underserved children and families of Palm Beach County. More than 400 volunteer doctors, dentists, nurses, and dental hygienists, as well as many others in the areas of outreach and education give their time to generously help our cause. Through volunteers and generous donors Caridad gives local families a fighting chance to stay healthy. For more information visit caridad.org
