Youth of the Future

Drills: Khayvion Gleason (above) of Northwood High School in Shreveport runs football drills while attending the Youth of the Future Football Camp and Family Fun Day in Junction City on Saturday. Gleason was one of many high school athletes attending the event to hone their skills and learn and develop techniques of the game from professionals. The Kevin Payne Foundation sponsored the event, which featured outdoor games along with free food. Payne, a Junction City native and former professional NFL football player, started the foundation in 2017 to give back to his community.
