Imperial Wrestling Revolution coming to MAD

Murphy Arts District will be hosting Imperial Wrestling Revolution’s World Class Revolution on May 19 at the Griffin Music Hall.

WWE Hall of Famers “Good Ole’ JR” Jim Ross and “Mean” Gene Okerlund will host the event that will be headlined by former WWE superstars Jack Swagger, Tenille Dashwood (FKA Emma), “Big Poppa Pump” Scott Steiner, Tatanka and more.

The event will also feature an appearance by the legendary Iceman King Parsons and the Arkansas debut of second-generation superstars, The Von Erich’s. The organization’s current tagteam champions, Marshall and Ross Von Erich, are the sons of WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Von Erich.

“We are excited to bring IWR’s brand of sports entertainment to the Murphy Arts District,” said Mark Givens, vice president of talent and artist relations. “WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has assembled a great lineup of athletes for this TV taping and we’re excited they picked our venue. It will be a great night of family-friendly action!”

For the first time, MAD will create a center-of-the-room seating configuration so the audience will be on all four sides of the ring. Ticket prices range from $60 to $10 each.

VIP packages are $60 and includes a front row seat, early event-entry, a commemorative event poster and an autograph and photo opportunity with Ross and Okerlund.

MAD membership pre-sale begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday and tickets on sale to the public start at 10 a.m. Monday.

Bell-time is 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6 p.m. The event will be taped for an upcoming television pilot.
