Old Man Winter has been sent to the seasonal nursing home, which means it’s time for Dayton-area food trucks to tune up their engines and fire up their grills. Here’s a complete list of scheduled food truck events in the Miami Valley.

APRIL 1

Food Trucks at Home Depot Beavercreek Where: 3775 Presidential Drive, Fairborn When: 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Who: McNasty’s, PA’s Pork, The Drunken Waffle, Thai1On, Mohawk Freestyle Grill Food Truck, Shantz Express About: This event features Best of Dayton 2016 third-place winner, The Drunken Waffle.

Laser Web Food Truck Rally

Where: 533 Miamisburg Center-ville Road, Centerville When: 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Who: Smokingbeebeeq, Hunger Paynes Food Truck, Just Jerks, Zombie Dogz, Greek Street Food Truck, Latinarepas Food Truck, Ice Cream Trolley About: Plenty of fun things to do here, with a bounce house for kids, and miniature golf and laser tag games available for all ages. Best of Dayton 2016 food truck winner Zombie Dogz will be among the delicious options.

APRIL 2

Brunch! A food truck rally Where: Old Yellow Cab Building, 700 E. 4th St., Dayton When: 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Who: The Drunken Waffle, El Meson, The Wicked ‘Wich of Dayton, Son of a Biscuit, Greek Street Food Truck, The Shakery Juice Bar About: This begins a monthly feature at Dayton’s Yellow Cab Building in the Oregon District. Boston Stoker will offer coffee with Lily’s Bistro frying up beignets. Bloody Mary’s and mimosas will also be available.

APRIL 8

Food Trucks on Dorothy Lane Where: 2000 E. Dorothy Lane, Kettering When: 11 a.m.-8-p.m. Who: Hunger Paynes Food Truck, PA’s Pork, The Wicked ‘Wich of Dayton, Carvaso’s, The Drunken Waffle, Greek Street Food Truck, Latinarepas Food Truck, Underdogs Mobile, Thai1On, Griff’s Grill, Mohawk Freestyle Grill Food Truck, Ice Cream Trolley About: There are 12 trucks (and counting) to this massive rally in Kettering. A bounce house, music and tables and chairs will be provided. Drinks will be available from Archer’s Tavern on Dorothy Lane.

Dayton Barbecue Rodeo

Where: 700 E. 4th St., Dayton When: 10 a.m-8 p.m. Who: Smokinbeebeeq, The Beerded Pig, Mind Your P’s & Q’s BBQ, Texas Beef and Cattle Company, Jolly Jack’s Catering & BBQ, Southern Roots BBQ, S&S Meat House, Jim Dandy’s Family BBQ, Dubtown Smokers, Big Willie’s Smokehouse About: Purveyors of pig are coming from as far as Cincinnati, Wilmington and Urbana to take part in this event guaranteed to send you to hog heaven.

APRIL 15

Food Truck Rally at Home Depot Centerville Where: 5860 Wilmington Pike, Centerville When: 11 a.m.-6-p.m. Who: McNasty’s, Hunger Paynes Food Truck, Smokingbeebeeq, Just Jerks, PA’s Pork, The Wicked ‘Wich of Dayton, The Drunken Waffle, Latinarepas Food Truck, Greek Street Food Truck, TJ’s Sweet Treats About: A lot of the usual tasty suspects at this event, which also feature a bounce house, kids workshops, an obstacle course and product demonstrations.

APRIL 21

Yellow Cab Food Truck Rally Where: Old Yellow Cab Building, 700 E. 4th St., Dayton When: 5 p.m.-10 p.m. Who: Ramen Rickshaw, EAT, El Meson, Smokingbeebeeq, The Drunken Waffle, The Wicked ‘Wich of Dayton, The Painted Pepper, Hunger Paynes Food Truck, Thai1On, Just Jerks, 1776 Grill, Alphabetical, Greek Street Food Truck, Cupzilla Korean BBQ, Nacho Pig, Sweet P’s Handcrafted Ice Pops, Flying Santucci Bros. Gourmet Cotton Candy About: Easily one of Dayton’s biggest food truck showcases of the year, the folks at Yellow Cab have long been flying the food truck flag.

APRIL 22

Alpha Food Truck Fundraiser Where: 2251 S. Smithville Road, Kettering When: 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Who: Horseless Buggy Eatery, McNasty’s, Tin Roof Mobile Food, Mo’s Mobile Food Truck, Latinarepas Food Truck, Shantz Express, TJ’s Nice Cream Truck, Griff’s Grill About: This fundraiser — put on by Alpha Lodge 729 — donates 10 percent of its proceeds from the food trucks to multiple charities, including the Special Olympics. There will also be a bake sale.

APRIL 29

Eat From a Truck at Costco Where: 5300 Cornerstone North Blvd., Centerville When: 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Who: Latinarepas Food Truck, Shantz Express, Griff’s Grill, Underdogs Mobile, Tin Roof Mobile Food, McNasty’s, Just Jerks, Horseless Buggy Eatery About: This event is organized by the Dayton Food Trucks Association.
