The Family Foundation of Southwest Louisiana, the endowment arm of Family & Youth counseling Agency, honored Cheniere Energy’s Community Investment Council, the Friends of Shannon Cox, and Christus Fund for giving their time, talent, and treasure for the betterment of Southwest Louisiana during the Philanthropy Celebration and Awards Breakfast, presented by Entergy, at L’Auberge Casino Resort on Nov. 2. For Family and Youth: Andreas Global Asset Management Group donates $14,000 to the Leadership Center for Youth in the form of a sponsorship for the Serving up Success Volleyball Clinic and Dinner with Team USA events, held Oct. 20 and 21. All proceeds from the events benefited The Leadership Center for Youth, a division of Family & Youth Counseling Agency. For MSU Foundation: Lee Boyer, Jim Boyer and Martha Boyer LaBorde have given $30,000 to the McNeese State University Foundation to establish the William and Margaret Boyer Scholarship in memory of their parents, William and Margaret Boyer.
